- 4 chicken breasts (save 3 c. broth)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 2 c. rice
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. blanched almonds
Method
- Cook and chop chicken breasts.
- Mix first 7 ingredients with 3 cups of broth.
- Put in greased casserole dish. Mix 2 cups Rice Krispies with 1/2 stick melted margarine and put on top of chicken mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Makes 2 casseroles.
- Add grated cheese if desired. If you freeze, do not put Rice Krispies on until ready to cook.
