Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (save 3 c. broth)
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 2 c. rice
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. blanched almonds

Method

  • Cook and chop chicken breasts.
  • Mix first 7 ingredients with 3 cups of broth.
  • Put in greased casserole dish. Mix 2 cups Rice Krispies with 1/2 stick melted margarine and put on top of chicken mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Makes 2 casseroles.
  • Add grated cheese if desired. If you freeze, do not put Rice Krispies on until ready to cook.
