- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 12 cup shredded carrot
- 12 cup chopped celery
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 (8 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 lb processed cheese food, cubed (such as Velveeta)
- 1 (11 ounce) cancondensed cheddar cheese soup
- 2 12 cups milk
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
Method
- Cooking Instructions.
- Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown.
- Drain, crumble, and set aside.
- Simmer carrots, celery, onion, and broth for about 10 minutes or until soft.
- Add rice, corn, beef, processed cheese, cheese soup, and milk, and cook until cheese is melted.
- Do not boil.
- Add sour cream and chives just before serving.
- Preparation Time: 20 minute.
- Cooking Time: 20 minute.
- Ready In: 40 minute.
- Servings: 6.
