Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 12 cup shredded carrot
  • 12 cup chopped celery
  • 12 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 (8 ounce) can corn, drained
  • 1 lb processed cheese food, cubed (such as Velveeta)
  • 1 (11 ounce) cancondensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 12 cups milk
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives

Method

  • Cooking Instructions.
  • Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet.
  • Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown.
  • Drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • Simmer carrots, celery, onion, and broth for about 10 minutes or until soft.
  • Add rice, corn, beef, processed cheese, cheese soup, and milk, and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Do not boil.
  • Add sour cream and chives just before serving.
  • Preparation Time: 20 minute.

  • Ready In: 40 minute.
