Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) tubes crescent rolls
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Spread one tube crescent rolls in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat egg yolk, sugar, vanilla and cream cheese.
- Spread over rolls.
- Take second tube of crescent rolls and lay on top of cheese mixture.
- Beat egg white with a fork and spread on top. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup nuts and sprinkle over top of egg white.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
