Ingredients
- 3 c. celery, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 2 cans cream of celery soup (undiluted)
- 1 tube Ritz crackers, crumbled
- 1 pkg. slivered almonds
- 1 stick margarine, melted
Method
- Preboil celery until tender in salted water; drain well.
- Layer chestnuts, celery and celery soup in casserole dish.
- Melt butter in pan; add almonds and brown.
- Stir in cracker crumbs.
- Spread over celery mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
