Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt margarine in a saucepan.
- Add sugar.
- Melt slowly.
- Mix cornstarch in water.
- Add this slowly to the melted margarine. Bring slowly to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla.
- Very good served warm over gingerbread.
