Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/2 c. corn syrup or molasses is best
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 6 qt. popcorn (after popped)
Method
- Boil sugar, butter, syrup or molasses and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda and flavoring.
- Stir well over corn. Place in 200° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Let cool and store in covered container.
- (I cook mine in large roasting pan.)
