Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Cream
  • 1/2 c. Chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1/2 c. Picante sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Blackened fish seasoning

Method

  • 1) Heat one TBS.
  • butter in a pan and saute/fry mushrooms, set aside 2.
  • In a medium sauce pan heat two TBS.
  • of butter and stir in the flour till dissolved 3.
  • Add in chicken stock, cream, garlic and pepper, stir ring constantly cook till sauce thickens.
  • Don't boil.
  • 4.
  • Once thickened reduce heat, cover, and cook 2 more min 5.
  • Add in picante sauce, blackening seasoning, and sauteed mushrooms, heat through 6.
  • Hold hot till ready to serve 7.
  • Serve over grilled or possibly broiled fish
