Ingredients
- 1 lb Lean grnd beef
- 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 x Celery stalks, minced
- 1 x 16 ounce. can kidney beans, undrained
- 1/2 med Head cabbage, minced
- 1 x 28 ounce. can tomatoes, minced and liquid reserved.
- 1 x Tomato can water
- 4 x Beef bouillon cubes Minced fresh parsley
Method
- In a Dutch oven, brown beef.
- Add in all other ingredients except parsley; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered 1 hour.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Yield: 3 qts If cooking for 2: Soup can be frzn in serving-size portions to enjoy months later.
