Ingredients
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla (or to taste)
- 1 uncooked pie shell
Method
- Soften butter.
- Beat eggs until blended and combine with sugar and flour.
- Mix butter, egg mixture and buttermilk.
- Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour into pie shell and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until knife stuck in the middle comes out clean.
- (Cook empty pie shell for 4 or 5 minutes so the bottom won't be soggy.)
