Ingredients

  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Method

  • In saucepan, bring oleo, water and cocoa to boil.
  • In mixing bowl, sift sugar, flour and salt together.
  • Pour hot mixture into flour mixture and beat well until mixed.
  • Add sour cream, eggs and baking soda.
  • Stir until mixed.
  • Pour into 17 x 11 x 3/4-inch greased and floured cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
