Ingredients
- 1 lb. broccoli
- 3 tsp. salt
- 3 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 small onion
- 3 (1/2-inch) thick slices Velveeta, cubed
Method
- Cook broccoli with salt and boiling water 10 to 12 minutes or 5 minutes in microwave.
- Crush when cooked (2 1/2 cups).
- Heat butter; cook onion and blend in flour and milk.
- Stir until sauce boils and thickens.
- Add bouillon, cheese and broccoli.
- Reheat to boiling.
