Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 pound bacon, fried, liquid removed, crumbled
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon lowfat milk

Method

  • Break broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pcs.
  • Add in raisins, bacon, onions, and sunflower seeds.
  • Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and lowfat milk; spread over vegetables and toss.
  • Chill at least 2 hrs before serving.
  • Serves 8-10.
  • Minced turkey, chicken, or possibly other meat may be substituted.
