Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 2 slices bread, torn into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Method
- Cook sausage until brown, crumbling as it cooks.
- Drain well. Spread bread cubes in a buttered 12 x 8-inch casserole dish.
- Top with sausage and cheese.
- Combine eggs, milk and seasonings; beat well and pour over cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until set.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
