Ingredients

  • 4 lb. bear meat
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • 8 carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green peppers, sliced
  • 2 cans tomatoes

Method

  • Cut meat into bite-size portions.
  • Roll in flour seasoned with salt, garlic powder, paprika, parsley and pepper.
  • Brown in oil and add carrots, onion and green pepper; brown these.
  • Add tomatoes and simmer for 2 hours until meat is tender.
  • Serve over rice.
