Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 full c. blueberries
- 2 tsp. sugar (for top)
Method
- Cream sugar and butter until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.
- Fold in blueberries.
- (You can use cranberries, apples or dates, if desired.)
- Grease muffin tin well with butter.
- Fill to top of cup; sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 30 minutes.
- Makes 1 dozen large muffins.
