Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can blueberries in heavy syrup (not pie filling), undrained
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  • Stir in blueberries.
  • Pour into a 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish; chill until set. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add vanilla and sour cream; mix well.
  • Spread over the gelatin layer. Sprinkle with pecans.
  • Chill several hours or overnight.
