Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon bottled barbecue sauce or chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon each garlic power and pepper
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 8 ounces (3 c.) pasta twists (rotini)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 cups torn lettuce
  • 1 large tomato chopped (about 1 1/2 cup)

Method

  • Mix all dressing ingredients in a large salad bowl until blended. Boil chicken, cool and cut into bite size pieces. Boil pasta drain set aside. Cook bacon cool and crumble. Mix hot pasta to dressing in salad bowl and toss to mix and coat. Add chicken pieces along with bacon, lettuce and tomato. Toss gently to mix.
