Ingredients

  • 5 c. blackberries
  • 1 c. superfine sugar divided
  • 2/3 c. fresh lime juice divided
  • 1/4 c. vodka
  • 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Chambord (raspberry-flavored liqueur)
  • 3 c. strawberries halved
  • 3 c. blueberries
  • 1/3 c. vodka

Method

  • Place blackberries in a blender; process till smooth.
  • Press blackberry puree through a sieve into a medium bowl; throw away seeds.
  • Add in 3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. lime juice, 1/4 c. vodka, lemon juice and liqueur to black berry puree; stir well
  • Pour blackberry mix into the freezer can of an ice cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Spoon into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze till hard.
  • Combine 1/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. lime juice, strawberries, blueberries and 1/3 c. vodka in a large bowl; stir gently.
  • Let stand 2 hrs.
  • Spoon 3/4 c. strawberry mix into each of 8 glasses; top each with 1/2 c. sorbet.
