Ingredients

  • 2 x 8 ounce package cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp. green bell pepper flakes
  • 1/2 c. sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
  • 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
  • 1 Tbsp. dry chopped onion
  • 2 tsp Tabasco sauce or possibly to taste
  • 1/2 c. dry parsley flakes

Method

  • Blend cream cheese, green pepper flakes, olives, onion and Tabasco sauce with a fork in a medium size bowl.
  • Shape mix into a round ball.
  • Roll in parsley flakes till covered slightly, pressing flakes against ball as you roll it.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Present on platter surrounded by snack crackers.
  • NOTES: This will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • You can add in fresh sprigs of parsley around base of ball for an added festive touch.
