Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. heavy cream

Method

  • Put flour, baking powder and sugar into mixing bowl.
  • Stir with fork.
  • Slowly add 1 to 1 1/2 cups cream, stir constantly, just until dough comes together.
  • Place dough on floured board and knead for 1 minute.
  • Put dough flat to 3/4-inch to 1-inch thick. Cut with 2-inch round cookie cutter or drinking glass.
  • Brush both sides with melted butter.
  • Place buttered biscuits 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in preheated 425° oven for 15 to 18 minutes until browned.
