Ingredients

  • 5 cups Fresh Berries Or A 600g Bag Of Frozen Berries (blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries)
  • 1/2 cups Sugar (up To 1 Cup Depending On Your Taste And The Sweetness Of The Berries)
  • 2 teaspoons Quick Cooking Tapioca
  • 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cups Butter, At Room Temperature

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine berries and sugar. Cook 4 minutes.
  • Then remove it from the microwave, add tapioca, mix to combine, and set aside.
  • In another bowl, whisk the flour, oats, brown sugar and salt. Rub the butter into the ingredients until a crumbly mixture forms.
  • Place the fruit into an 8x10 or 9x11 baking dish and sprinkle the crisp mixture on top. Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Serve with ice cream.
