Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 quart Buttermilk
- 2 x Egg yolks,beaten Brown sugar to taste
Method
- Mix flour with 1 c. of the lowfat milk to smooth paste.
- Bring remaining lowfat milk to boil.
- Stir in flour mix.
- Cook stirring constantly, till thickened and smooth.
- Gradually stir in buttermilk.
- Bring to boil remove from Heat.
- Place egg yolks in soup tureen.
- Gradually stir warm soup into the egg yolks.
- Serve warm with brown sugar on the side.
- Makes about 2 qts.
