Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups beer
  • 1 bunch green onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 13 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon gingerroot, grated
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 12 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 2 12 lbs flank steaks, well trimmed

Method

  • Combine all ingredients except steak.
  • Add steak and marinate several hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Drain and pat dry.
  • Grill over hot coals 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  • Cut across the grain on the diagonal into thin slices.
