- 3-1/4 ground beef
- 2 tbsp. Worshestershire sauce
- 1/2 tbsp. fresh ground black pepper
- 1/4 tbsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. liquid smoke
- 2-1/2 pkg. curing salt *
- 2-1/2 pkg. jerky seasoning *
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together until well mixed.
- Will change color from red to brown and get sticky when properly mixed.
- Fill jerky press and fill each tray with drops of jerky.
- Dehydrate at 150F for 4 hours.
- Remove from tray and wrap jerky in paper towels to absorb any additional grease.
