Ingredients

  • 3-1/4 ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. Worshestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 2-1/2 pkg. curing salt *
  • 2-1/2 pkg. jerky seasoning *

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients together until well mixed.
  • Will change color from red to brown and get sticky when properly mixed.
  • Fill jerky press and fill each tray with drops of jerky.
  • Dehydrate at 150F for 4 hours.
  • Remove from tray and wrap jerky in paper towels to absorb any additional grease.
