Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 cups leftover turkey, shredded
  • 6 hamburger buns

Method

  • In a large saucepan, cook chopped onion in oil until tender.
  • Stir in chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and water.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in cooked, shredded turkey.
  • Serve over hamburger buns.
