Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic

Method

  • Mix in glass container all the ingredients, except the garlic. Peel garlic and carefully score the cloves on all sides with a sharp knife.
  • Drop scored garlic into glass container with other ingredients.
  • Shake well for best flavor; let sit overnight.
  • Do not store in refrigerator.
  • I leave garlic cloves in container for a stronger garlic flavor.
  • Delicious on salad, pasta, etc.
