Ingredients

  • 1 lb bay or possibly calico scallops (or possibly sea scallops cut in quarters)
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
  • 1/4 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs mixed with
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine

Method

  • Mix wine, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in medium bowl.
  • Stir in scallops.
  • Add in cream and stir.
  • Place mix in shallow baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumb mix.
  • Bake at 400 degrees till scallops are done, mix is bubbly and crumbs are browned (approximately 15 min).
  • This recipe yields 4 servings.
