Ingredients
- 1 pound Mild Italian Sausage
- 12 ounces, fluid Rotini Pasta, Uncooked
- 1 jar (26 To 32 Oz. Size) Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 container (15 Oz. Size) Ricotta Cheese
- 1/2 pounds Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
Method
- 1.
- Brown sausage (either buy ground sausage or take casings off sausage links), crumbling while cooking.
- 2.
- Meanwhile boil pasta.
- 3.
- Drain any oil from the sausage and drain pasta in a colander.
- 4.
- Mix spaghetti sauce, sausage and pasta.
- 5.
- Place half of the sauce, sausage and pasta mixture in a baking dish.
- 6.
- Spread ricotta cheese over the pasta.
- 7.
- Cover with the remaining pasta mixture and smooth the top.
- 8.
- Place sliced mozzarella cheese over the mix.
- 9.
- Bake covered at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes, then for 58 minutes uncovered or until slightly browned on top.
