Ingredients

  • 1 pound Mild Italian Sausage
  • 12 ounces, fluid Rotini Pasta, Uncooked
  • 1 jar (26 To 32 Oz. Size) Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 container (15 Oz. Size) Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 pounds Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced

Method

  • 1.
  • Brown sausage (either buy ground sausage or take casings off sausage links), crumbling while cooking.
  • 2.
  • Meanwhile boil pasta.
  • 3.
  • Drain any oil from the sausage and drain pasta in a colander.
  • 4.
  • Mix spaghetti sauce, sausage and pasta.
  • 5.
  • Place half of the sauce, sausage and pasta mixture in a baking dish.
  • 6.
  • Spread ricotta cheese over the pasta.
  • 7.
  • Cover with the remaining pasta mixture and smooth the top.
  • 8.
  • Place sliced mozzarella cheese over the mix.
  • 9.
  • Bake covered at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes, then for 58 minutes uncovered or until slightly browned on top.
