Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 box lasagne
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Method
- Brown meat; add onion
- and
- garlic
- in oil.
- Add tomato paste and tomato sauce and
- stir
- well.
- Add
- sugar,
- salt and pepper and simmer on low heat.
- Add
- 3 cans water for each can of tomato paste and 2 cans water for each tomato sauce.
- Bring to boil and cook until
- it thickens.
- Boil lasagne; drain when done.
- Bake in 10 x
- 13-inch
- pan.
- Layer
- meat
- sauce, cooked lasagne
- and Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat
- until
- pan
- is
- full. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
