Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 box lasagne
  • 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Method

  • Brown meat; add onion
  • and
  • garlic
  • in oil.
  • Add tomato paste and tomato sauce and
  • stir
  • well.
  • Add
  • sugar,
  • salt and pepper and simmer on low heat.
  • Add
  • 3 cans water for each can of tomato paste and 2 cans water for each tomato sauce.
  • Bring to boil and cook until
  • it thickens.
  • Boil lasagne; drain when done.
  • Bake in 10 x
  • 13-inch
  • pan.
  • Layer
  • meat
  • sauce, cooked lasagne
  • and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat
  • until
  • pan
  • is
  • full. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
