Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. quick grits
- 6 c. water
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 3 tsp. savory salt
- 2 tsp. salt
- 10 or 12 dashes Tabasco (optional)
- 1 tsp. paprika, sprinkled on top
Method
- Cook grits in water until thick.
- Stir in everything except eggs.
- Add eggs when cool.
- Put in 8 x 12-inch pan.
- Sprinkle paprika on top.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
