Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. uncooked oats (not instant)
- 2 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c. unsweetened applesauce
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
Method
- Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly spray a 9-inch baking pan or possibly dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine flour, oats, baking pwdr, cinnamon, and salt.
- Blend with a wire whisk and set aside.
- Beat together margarine and sugar.
- Blend in egg.
- Add in flour mix, applesauce, and water.
- Mix well.
- Mix in nuts.
- Spread proportionately in prepared baking dish.
- Bake 40 to 45 min or possibly till golden.
- Cold completely.
- Cut into 12 squares.
- 6 g Sugars.
