Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. crushed pineapple
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
Method
- Combine sugar, water, pineapple and cornstarch.
- Cook in double boiler until thick.
- Remove from heat and fold in egg whites.
- Cool slightly and put into baked pie shell.
- Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
- Chill until ready to serve.
