Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 c. flour
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
Method
- Put together dry ingredients; work in shortening.
- Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water.
- Add to buttermilk.
- Pour liquid into dry mixture and stir until all flour is moistened. Cover and place in refrigerator.
- Roll out and cut.
- Place sides touching, on baking sheet.
- Bake at 425°.
