Ingredients
- 30 (4 to 5-inch) cucumbers
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1/4 c.salt
- 15 c. sugar (okay to use 13 c.)
- 1/4 c. mixed pickling spice (place spices in cheesecloth)
Method
- Pour boiling water over cucumbers for 4 days.
- Drain well each time.
- On fifth day, make syrup and pour over for 4 days, drain and bring to boil each day.
- Can pickles ninth day.
