Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 blocks Tofu (silken or firm)
  • 1 can Canned tuna in oil
  • 1/2 tsp Grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 1 enough to swoosh around the inner sides of the pot once Soy sauce
  • 1 stalk Green onions or scallions

Method

  • Put the cut up tofu, tuna (with the oil), grated ginger and sake in a small pan, cover with the lid and start cooking on medium heat.
  • When it's boiling and water is coming out of the tofu, put in a swoosh of soy sauce in the pan, and add some ripped up green onion.
  • Reduce heat to low, and put the lid back on.
  • Simmer for a while longer, shaking the pan occasionally.
  • It's done when the tofu starts to take on some color.
