Ingredients
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 tsp. sugar
- red and green pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 6 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 large green pepper, cut into rings
- 1 large onion, cut into rings
- 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
Method
- Heat mixture of vinegar, celery seed, mustard seed, salt, sugar and water to boiling for 2 minutes.
- Pour mixture over vegetables and mix well.
- Let stand.
- Serve.
- Will last for several days.
