Ingredients
- fresh cucumbers (medium size)
- 11 1/4 c. vinegar
- 9 c. sugar
- 9 Tbsp. canning salt
- 13 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 13 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Wash and cut cucumbers into sticks.
- Pour boiling water over them; let stand overnight.
- Next morning, pack in jars.
- Fix solution made of remaining ingredients.
- Boil for 5 minutes.
- Pour over cucumbers and process for 5 minutes in boiling water.
- Be sure and drain water off after packing in jars, before pouring solution over them.
