Ingredients
- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese
- 3 c. corn flakes
Method
- Melt half of butter in large skillet; add potatoes and stir until coated.
- Mix other ingredients and pour into 9 x 13-inch casserole.
- Melt other half of butter and stir in corn flakes. Spread over top of potatoes and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- For a one dish meal, add chunks of chicken or ham.
