- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
Method
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add beef, onions, green peppers and cook until meat is browned.
- Drain liquid.
