Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 c. water
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • pretzels (added to taste or preference)

Method

  • Blend flour with butter.
  • Add water to milk and heat.
  • Add blended butter and flour to diluted milk and stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add a pinch of pepper and parsley.
  • Break as many pretzels as you wish into soup just before serving.
  • The amount of salt on the pretzels determines whether or not more salt should be added to taste.
