Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 whole eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add one egg, slightly beaten.
- Add a little flour.
- Stir well.
- Continue in same manner until all eggs and flour have been added.
- Add vanilla; mix well.
- Mixture will be stiff.
- Pour into lightly greased tube pan or loaf pan.
- Bake 40 minutes at 375° or until cake is golden brown.
