Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, sliced coin shapes
- 6 c. water
- 2 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans
- 1/2 doz. carrots, chopped
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- garlic to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Simmer sausage in 3 cups water for 20 minutes.
- Add other ingredients and simmer at least an hour.
- Yields 12 servings.
