Ingredients
- 1/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. butter, soften
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. corn meal
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
Method
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add beaten eggs, flour, cornmeal and vanilla extract; beat until well blended. Add buttermilk and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375° and bake 35 minutes or golden brown.
