Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. frankfurters, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot or peach preserves
  • 1 c. Kraft barbecue sauce
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained

Method

  • Combine ground beef, onion and salt.
  • Mix lightly.
  • Shape in 1-inch balls.
  • Brown in skillet. Drain.
  • Add frankfurters and combine preserves and barbecue sauce.
  • Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add pineapple and heat thoroughly.
  • Makes 10 dozen appetizers.
