Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 whole Onion, Medium, Diced
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes With Italian Spice, 19oz
- 3 cans Beef Broth, 10 Oz Each
- 2 cans Beef Consomme, 10oz Each
- 4 whole Carrots, Chopped
- 1 whole Bay Leaf
- 8 Tablespoons Pot Barley
- 1 cup Cabbage, Chopped Fine
- 1/2 cups Celery, Chopped
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
Method
- Brown ground beef in a large saucepan. Drain the grease. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
