Ingredients
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 8 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- Cook 1 1/2 pints lowfat milk in double boiler.
- Add in 4 Tbsp.
- sugar and stir.
- In another bowl combine 4 Tbsp.
- sugar, 4 Tbsp.
- cornstarch and 4 Tbsp.
- cocoa.
- Slowly add in 1/2 pint cool lowfat milk and stir to remove all lumps.
- When smooth, add in this combination slowly to warmed lowfat milk in pan.
- Cook and stir constantly till thickened (about 10 min).
- Add in vanilla and pour into Pyrex dish or possibly individual dessert dishes.
- This is easy to prepare and tastes much much better than packaged chocolate pudding.
