Ingredients
- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup onion minced
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 egg beaten
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 6 bacon strips
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Add the ground beef, bell pepper, onion, oats, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, egg, and a pinch of salt and black pepper to a bowl. Mix well using your hands. If the mixtures comes out to be too moist, add more bread crumbs.
- Place the bacon on the bottom of a baking dish, Add the ground beef mixture on top of the bacon. Spread it out evenly.
- Add the baking dish to the oven for 40 minutes.
- Remove the oven from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
