Ingredients
- 1/2 onions peeled and diced
- 1 3/4 ounces speck or smoked ham, chopped
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes canned, with basil
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 3/4 pound linguine
- Parmesan cheese grated
- fresh basil minced
Method
- In a frying pan, heat 4 tablespoons of oil and add the onion and speck. Saute for a few minutes.
- Add the tomato and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 9 minutes.
- Drain the and add to the tomato mixture.
- Serve sprinkled with parmesan and basil.
