Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef Short Ribs
  • 2 pounds Boneless Chicken Thighs
  • 1 cup Aloha Brand Soy Sauce
  • 6 cloves Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 Large Onion, Sliced
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Ginger
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 5 Green Onions, Sliced

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except butter and green onions in a large resealable bag until sugar dissolves.
  • Seal the bag and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Turn grill to medium-high.
  • When grill is hot remove meat from the marinade.
  • Add meat to preheated grill, turning as needed.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes for short ribs and 10-12 for chicken thighs or use a meat thermometer to check for done-ness.
  • While grilling, put a heat safe pan thats large enough to hold all of the meat on the upper part of grill and add the butter.
  • Allow butter to melt as the meat cooks.
  • When meat is done, add it into the pan with the butter and add green onions.
  • Toss to coat completely.
