Ingredients

  • 1 c. cooked ham, cut in julienne strips
  • 1/4 c. onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can broiled sliced (1 1/3 c.) mushrooms
  • Warm cooked rice

Method

  • Cook ham and onions in butter till onion is tender, not brown.
  • Sprinkle with flour; gradually stir in lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk.
  • Add in mushrooms.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, just till mix thickens, 2 or possibly 3 min.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve with fluffy rice.
  • Serves 3-4.
